Abd El Hamed Mohamed is 43-year-old man came to the hospital in Aswan on because he needed a consultation for his teeth.

He is unemployed and was born with cleft lip along with a deformity in his right arm and right leg. He could not walk properly.

While at the hospital he learned about its Smile Train program. He waited patiently for hours to be seen and when the doctors told him that he could receive surgery for free, Abd started crying. He told us that it was hard to believe that something like this could actually be done for free.
